This policy explains what information Movi Engitech LLP (“Movi Engitech”, “we”) collects through moviengitech.com, why we collect it and how we look after it.

What we collect

When you send an enquiry or a message through this website, we collect what you enter in the form:

• your name, company, email address and phone or WhatsApp number
• your city and state, and the type of organisation you work for
• details of your requirement, and any documents you attach, such as a BOQ or drawing

We also record the page you sent the enquiry from and, to protect the form from spam and abuse, a one-way coded version of your IP address. We cannot turn that code back into your IP address.

We do not ask for, and do not want, payment details or government identity numbers through this website.

Why we use it

• to reply to your enquiry and prepare a quotation
• to follow up on that enquiry by phone, WhatsApp or email
• to keep a record of enquiries and quotations
• to protect the website and its forms from spam and misuse

We use your details on the basis of the consent you give when you tick the box on the form. We do not sell your information and do not use it for advertising.

Who else handles it

We use these service providers to run the website and handle enquiries:

• Cloudflare: website hosting and spam protection on forms
• Supabase: database and secure storage of enquiries and attached documents
• Resend: delivery of enquiry notification and acknowledgement emails
• Zoho Mail: our business email
• GitHub: storage of encrypted weekly backups of the website database

These providers process the information only to provide their service to us. Some of them may store or process data on servers outside India.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiries and attached documents for up to three years after our last contact with you, then delete them, unless we need them longer for an ongoing quotation or order or to meet a legal obligation. Messages that our system identifies as likely spam are deleted after 90 days. Deleted information may remain in our encrypted backups for up to 90 days before those backups expire.

How we protect it

The website uses encrypted connections (HTTPS). Enquiries and documents are stored privately and can be viewed only by authorised Movi Engitech staff after signing in. Attached documents are never published.

Cookies

This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies. A cookie is used only when our own staff sign in to manage the website. If we add website analytics in future, we will update this policy first.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us to show you the information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it, and you can withdraw your consent at any time. Email info@moviengitech.com with your request. Withdrawing consent does not affect anything we did before you withdrew it.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we use your information, we will update this page and the date at the top.
