MBR membranes
In a membrane bioreactor (MBR), submerged membranes separate treated water from the activated sludge. The membrane takes the place of the secondary clarifier and tertiary filtration with a single physical barrier.
Movi Engitech supplies UniSeal hollow fibre MBR membranes for new plants, for upgrades of conventional activated sludge plants and as replacements in operating MBR plants.

What we supply
- UniSeal hollow fibre elements
- Reinforced PVDF (R-PVDF), outside-to-inside filtration, in 10, 20 and 30 m² elements.
- Membrane frames (skids)
- Elements can be supplied loose or mounted in a stainless steel frame. Tell us which you need.
- Ancillary equipment
- Air scour blowers, permeate and backwash pumps, and dosing for membrane cleaning, from our other ranges.
